I you have not setup blogger yet then please get back to the chapter 2 "Setting Up Blogger"
And if you have missed the third chapter of  "How To Start Blog" "How To Use Your Blog" then do not move forward because if you missed something you may get difficulties further.
After you know the basics to blogger we can go more deeper. Bloggger is an amazing platform for new comers and professionals to share your imagination with the entire world.

In this chapter i'm going to teach your how to configure your blog,changing your blog design and managing its layout.
I have already told you in previous chapter that blog design makes user easier to get into every post of your blog which helps in increasing your traffic as well as user experience.Most of the user close the site tab by seeing their design without reading the content.

BASIC DESIGN

Blog design may differ from person to person.Not everyone mind is same and they may want their blog look differ than others.But the best part about blogger is that we can design our blog with few simple clicks.You do not have to worry about learning html,css,xhtml,js or any other web development languages.
Site designs are known as template in blogger.

Changing Blog Templates

You can upload your self designed template and other free and paid version templates too. Don't know where to find a professional free templates? Blog template gives a new look to your blog.

1. To change your blog template or blog design you have to click on Templates tab on left sidebar of your blogger dashboard.
   
2. Now you are in template designer.You can customize it and even get into site code and edit it.But we will learn this later.Click on Backup/Restore.
   
3. After that you can see two options there: Download template which allows you to download your current template and another choose files which opens a window explorer and lets you navigate and choose your blog template.Click on choose file and select your blog template and click on upload.
   
4. That's all.

Customizing Your Blog

You may like your template but you may not like the font colors,background,font,widths etc.But blogger allows you to customize your blog look in a graphical mode.

1. Click on Customize tab on Templates tab located on left sidebar of your blogger dashboard.
   
2. Now you can customize anything you want.You can see the option templates,background,adjust widths,layout,advanced.To change the background color or image you can click on 'Background' tab.And you can change main theme color,button colors,text colors from 'Advanced' tab.
   
3. After customizing you can click on 'Apply to blog' tab on top right side of your monitor.
4. That's all.

Note: All blog templates may not allow you to adjust widths or change your fonts.

Customizing The Layout

Now we are in the last part of our chapter.Customizing the layout makes your blog look better.If you widgets are in right place then user feels easier to explore more.Customizing the layout is just dragging and dropping the widgets.It's not too tough you will learn it yourself.And your view and my view may differ.So,customize the layout as your wish.To customize the layout you have to click on 'Layout' tab.
